About Me:

  • I have lived in the Killen community all of my life and have two children attending public school.

  • I come from a long line of family generation-involved farming.

  • I have owned and operated Agriculture Feed and Seed Supply, a small business in Center Star for several years.

  • I am a Local Union Member with 1209 The United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. 

  • I have been a civil servant for 19+ years with Center Star Fire Department and served on the Lauderdale County Fire Association as a Board Officer- helping people in their most difficult time during an emergency situation, 100% of my time in the community is all volunteer.

  • I have 7+ years as a Federal Defense contract fire fighter. 

  • I have attended Texas A&M and Alabama Fire College with Studies in Fire Science with advanced leadership courses in Civil Fire Protections and Certified as Fire Inspector, Fire Instructor and Fire Officer are just a few of my many core studies.

  • If elected as House of Representative, I will continue to serve the people of this State and communities of Lauderdale and Limestone County as I have for the past 19 years. That is a promise.

Community and Civil Services Involvement:

  • 19+ years in Fire and Emergency Medical service in my Local Volunteer Fire Department and with Department Defense Contracts and still serving as an Assistant Fire Chief.

  • I served with our Armed Service military members for over 7 years as Federal Defense Contract Firefighter with a 2-year deployment in Iraq under Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) and 3-1/2 years deployment in Afghanistan under International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) and 2 years with U.S. Army Garrison Kwajalein Fire Department in the Pacific. 

  • Served as a Board of Director/ Fire Prevention Officer for Lauderdale County Association of Volunteer Fire Departments. I organized and planned National Fire Prevention Week for the fourteen Fire Departments in Lauderdale County by distributing over 3,500 kids' fire prevention education materials and planning fire prevention parade in the county.
